Terra Gallery is pleased to announce our summer show, 'Silver Linings', featuring Contemporary, mixed media paintings and sculpture by Cynthia Morefield, Lynda Cole, and Jeff Hersey. The show will run through September 1 and is free and open to the public.

Cynthia Morefield creates paintings that ‘explore color, materiality, and process’. Her bold use of color and geometrics, offset by the delicacy of silver-leafing, creates a dynamic, visual experience. Lynda Cole’s mixture of the multi-faceted chemical process of patination, with her use of silver leaf, results in an elegant and inventive metallic feel. Jeff Hersey employs a delicate and simplistic, yet dynamic, approach to his metal works. Upcoming Exhibition:

'Contemporary Landscapes and Cityscapes', featuring Abstract and Representational paintings and sculptures. The show will open Gallery Hop September 4, 2010 and run through November 3 and is free and open to the public.

Please join us at Terra Gallery at 8 East Poplar Ave for an opening reception Saturday, September 4 from 4 -10 p.m. where you can enjoy live music in Poplar Park, art and refreshments. Additionally, during Gallery Hop, Contemporary landscape painters will be creating works in the Gallery. Terra Gallery is located adjacent to Poplar Park and Moe Joe/Cup of Joe Café, underneath the first arch headed north on High Street.
