Color and space is the main study behind developing the essence of the simplistic form of the square. I attempted to further develop its makeup by deconstructing its essence and restructuring its framework into mesmerizing imagery. Each piece has a carefully chosen color pallet supporting the end result of the composition. Color functions as a central role in each piece, as it is quickly attracts viewers with its intensity and calls for a closer look at the composition’s intricate details.

Besides the joy of experimenting with color, the challenge of testing the traditional limitations of the square enhances my objective in investigating its boundaries. Exploration of space, line, and texture are all areas that I implement in my decision making of each piece. Spatial treatment between each square is vital in its outcome of what each piece is trying to obtain. Whether the piece is destined to be loud or serene, mystical or structured, each square is carefully defined by its location, value, and form.
