Artist Statement

My work deals with materials, recycled and full of the energy of history. Dust, grounds, left over are the objects to which I am most attract. Secrets are found in the places where people do not remember to look. I aim to make very intimate and hidden things public; to witness the transformation. My work explores this through mark-making, writing, and found object collage.
